Sugar is the 'Grand Dame' at Lamars and everyone's favorite. She is now spayed and enjoying her retirement. The highlight of her day is if she gets to chase a cat, altho she is so fat no chance of catching it! Frankie finished his Championship on 4/8-08 under one of our favorite judges, Mr Ken McDermott. Frankie is the sire of Grand Ch. and Can. Ch.Lamars Dream Big-S, and Grand Ch. Lamars Murano-S (both have been in the Top 20 in 2011), Am. & Can. Ch. Cogie's Lucky Penny. He has a Russian Ch to his credit also. I am such a small breeder he doesn't really have the chance to produce many puppies but hopefully we can get enough puppies campaigned to make him a Top Producer.

Frankie has been sold to Alicia Perez in Colorado. We have reserved lifetime breeding rights because we realize his value as a stud dog. Many dogs can be Champions but very few are prepotent producers. Good luck Frankie. We'll miss you here. Thank you for all you did for our breeding program.

Lamars Autumn Chill won Best of Winners in Independence Missouri with Agent Betsy Owens for a 3 point major, March 20, 2010 and took another 4 pt major March 21, 2010 at the Heart of American show . Chilly took another point April 4, in Claremore, OK.

Chilli finished her Championship fall of 2010 with a 3rd major. She is now fulfilling her duty as her dad's spoiled lap dog.

Grand Ch. Lamars Murano-S is the 4th Lamar's dog to get his Grand Ch. in 2011. Murray has gone on as a Special this year and has been ranked in the Top 20 since May. He is currently #18 but has garnered 7 more BOV wins since Oct. 31, 2011 so he will be higher ranked by Dec. 31. Murray will be retiring then to be able to stay home and be Lisa's shadow, which is his favorite thing to do.

People who have seen Murray are amazed at his soundness of both body and mind. Breeders of 40 years have commented that he is the best thing they have seen in a long time. He will stand at limited stud in California. If interested contact Gayle.

Lucy completed her Championship in August 2011 with Joyce Standish handling. Lucy is an entity all her own...she thinks she 'owns' the show ring and can go wherever she wants. No pattern for her!! lol So she has been a real challenge to finish. Not because she didn't deserve the points but because she had her own ideas of how the ring procedure would be. Some judges didn't think it was as cute as the spectators!. One judge said, I'd like to know who's showing who! But even with all that we finished her despite her antics.

LUCY WILL BE BRED TO GRAND CH. LAMARS MURANO IN APRIL 2012. EARLY RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED.

Lira is a beautiful Frankie daughter (although impossible to get a decent photo of her) that has still not decided being a show dog is much fun. Her sister, Penny, must have taken all the showmanship in the genes...lol Penny loves it.

Here is Kale at 6 1/2 months winning BOS Smooth Puppy in Sweeps April 28 at the SCCC Specialty. That afternoon he won Best Smooth Coat Puppy in Sweeps and then on Sunday he went RESERVE WINNERS DOG AT THE CCA Spring Specialty. Kale finished his Ch. on Aug. 14 at 9 months of age shown by his favorite person Chavonne, age 5. They blew the competition away going BEST OF VARIETY OVER 6 SPECIALS FOR A 5 PT MAJOR! Watch for these two in the shows in California searching for his Grand Ch. points.

Scotch is a beautiful girl both structurally and temperamentally. She has that terrier like temperament the standard calls for.

Scotch is FOR SALE to the right home as a brood bitch. If she doesn't sell we will breed her in the Spring of 2012. She has much to offer the breed.

We have 2 Champions studs in mind. Finalizing the analysis on both the pedigrees and structure to decide. I love this bitch's movement and structure. Very sound girl.

Reese is an absolutely beautiful adult male (5 years ) who is a proven sire. His puppies come out with that beautiful classic head of his. He has volumes of coat..which is lacking in many chi's now. Wonderful temperament also passes on.

Introducing Paisley. Thank you to Karen Terry for this outstanding baby. She is 6 months and 3 pounds. I need to reduce some size and she is my start. I am still deciding on her registered name. I really like this one but I also love the song Crazy Girl!

I think she will be so fun and will finish quickly as her sire and dam did. She is by Gr. Ch. Belle's-N-Ka-Lynn's I'm Your Superman (chuckie...#5 s/c in 2011) and out of Ch. Ka-Lynn's Dancing Cleopatra.
